SOMERSET, NJ — An outstanding performance at the IAC Nationals by a Cedar Hill Prep (CHP) student points to a very bright academic future.

A fourth-grader from CHP had an incredible experience at the IAC Nationals and is now hoping to compete on an international stage. At Nationals, where roughly 1,700 students took part, he had the opportunity to meet and learn from champions representing different grades and schools. He performed well across multiple exams, earning fourth place in American geography, sixth place in Asian geography, and sixth place in physical science. He also advanced to the quarterfinal round of the GeoBee.

We encourage you to check out some of the photos from Orlando. We couldn’t be prouder of this amazing student’s achievements.

Another of our fourth-graders, who competed in the Geo Bowl, Academic Bowl, Geo Bee, and History Bee at the IAC last week, also had an amazing experience. Reaching the quarterfinals and finishing among the top 10 out of more than 100 children in his age group is a remarkable accomplishment. He’s already feeling inspired to work even harder for future competitions. We’d like to extend our congratulations to him on his outstanding performance.
